Real Life Families
The beauty of my Real Life Family Sessions is that you don't have to do much of anything other than be yourselves. I am offering you the most relaxed photo experience you will ever encounter because I am not asking you to do anything other than to be present with your family. Before our session, we will talk about the activities your family enjoys and we will plan our time together around your interests. Your kids will have such a good time, they will forget that I am watching and clicking.
I have spent the past 10 years honing my skills in documentary photography as I have learned to capture everyday life in my own family. My kids can tell you that it is a rare day for me to stop them for a picture. They live their lives and I find the beauty in the midst of it all. I cannot wait to do this for your family! It is truly my biggest passion in life. I long to show you just how beautiful real life can be. Does it feel chaotic at times? Of course! Do your kids throw tantrums? Um...yes! Is your house messy? Probably. Mine sure is. But...I know how to find the parts you want captured. You can trust that I will present to you a collection of images that tell the story of your family in a unique and beautiful way. And, I’ll even allow a few minutes for us to grab those Christmas card shots.
You will have photos that truly represent you as a family. And, I can promise you that your kids will absolutely love their time with you during our session. They will also love looking through the prints and coffee table book you will receive. My kids can never get enough of the pictures I have printed, and I know your kids will feel the same.
I offer three different options for my family sessions. You can choose from a 2 hour session, a half day, or a full day.
2 hour Session
This session will allow us enough time to spend in one location. I could come to your house and be a part of your everyday routine. Or, we could go somewhere together. If your family enjoys hiking, we could hike a trail together. If your kids love the zoo, we could go on an outing together. Or, if you just want to play at home in your backyard, we can do that, too. I'm up for anything!
1/2 Day Session (4 hours)
This session is made for those of you who want to allow enough time to enjoy a few activities together as a family. We could spend some of our time at your house and some of our time at a location of your choice. I could arrive at your home just as the kids are getting home from school and capture what everyday life looks like in your home up through dinner and bedtime. Or, we could plan an excursion based on what you guys may enjoy doing on a regular basis. There will be time for various options and there is a good chance you will all forget I am taking pictures because you will be having so much fun. Your kids will cherish this uninterrupted time with you more than you may realize. I promise.
Full Day Session (8 Hours)
I am most crazy about this option because you will devote eight hours to just being together as a family. There will be plenty of time to capture everyday life around your home, as well as incorporate some sort of fun outing into your day. The options truly are endless. Your kids can show me their rooms and have time to spend just being themselves in their own environment. You can cook a meal together. We will have plenty of time for you guys to relax and do what you love. This eight hour session will be the best way to capture the essence of your family because it will give me time to become friends with you all. Your kids will grow so comfortable with me that they will be eager to show me their fort in the backyard or to show me the tricks they can do on their bikes. I will have plenty of time to capture those real life moments. And, at the end of it all, you will have much more than a Christmas card picture. You will have images to remember your family as they are. No pretending. The real deal.

GRANDPARENT
SESSIONS
I can’t think of a more incredible way to spend my day. Capturing everyday life with grandparents fills my heart with so much joy. Do your parents live in town and spend time with your kids after school? How awesome would it be for that time with your kids to be documented and saved forever? Maybe the grandparents live far away and you want to document the special time you get together during a visit. I am all on board. You will not regret having pictures of these moments together.
All collections include digitals and a tangible product. Collections start at $835.
A deposit of $250 holds your spot on the calendar and the rest of the balance is due 3 days prior to scheduled shoot.
Payment plans are available for all collections.
