I am so happy I was able to grab this shot of my Mom in her classic "Sandy pose". Love this woman to the moon and back!

Summertime play ground fun. My kids do not wear shoes.

We had to take our car into the Mazda dealership in Minot, so we asked the courtesy shuttle guy to take us to the zoo.

My husband and I went on a 6 mile hike a few days ago all by ourselves. The wildflowers were just incredible, and the time spent together was even better. He puts up with my camera obsession and even carries it for me when I'm not using it.

My daughter turned 8 in May, and she requested a girl's playdate at the lake. We invited two sweet friends to go with us and they had the best time. On the way home, my daughter said, "I have to wait until Sunday to see you? Today is Thursday, so that means we have to wait 3 days?" I am so thankful for the friendships she is developing here. I grew up with dear friends and they are treasures to me.

The sky was so amazing when we were coming out of Sam's Club that we had to go to the overlook. This picture doesn't even come close to doing it justice. Just incredible.

I asked them to build me a planter for our new deck and they took me up on it. Within the day, it was done. And, I absolutely love it!
