Mandy gave me the best gift while she was here. I handed my camera off to her and she grabbed some beautiful shots of Bryn and I together. It was a super windy day at our favorite overlook. Bryn said, "If you lay down in the grass, it's not as windy." And, so we did.
This girl adores her big brother. The most difficult part for me in preparing to send my boy out into the world is knowing how much his little sis is going to miss him. She was cold as we watched the sunset and so Gage wrapped her up in his coat and carried her.
I can't stop messing around with free-lensing. These wooden birds came from our first trip over to Ethiopia. They hang in my happy place (my office).
This beautiful light comes through my front windows every evening toward sunset.
No words can describe how happy it makes me to have no snow on my back patio, to have bare feet running across said patio, and to see green things growing out of the ground. It was a long winter and we are glad to be moving along toward summer. The only one sad to see winter go is Cole puppy. His favorite thing (other than food) is snow.
There was such a heavy fog this morning, I couldn't resist taking the kids out to our favorite overlook. Much of it had dissipated by the time we got over there, but as you can see, it was still hovering over the river.
It's always a good day when Bryn gets to play with her friend, Tessa.
